Connecting Minds, Creating the Future – is the theme of the World Expo 2020 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This will be the first time an Arabic country will host the Expo and it is sure to be one to remember.
Dubai, the capitol of the UAE, is already known as one of the most modern and advanced cities world-wide and promises to deliver a worthy Expo for more than 25 million expected visitors from 20th October 2020 until 03rd April 2021. The Expo is a major international exhibition recognized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE).
The main site of Expo Dubai 2020 will be a 438-hectare area between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Over 130 countries have registered to take part in this event – this includes Belgium, Germany, India, the United Kingdom, the United States and so many more. All of these plan to showcase their major achievements, advances, outlooks and opportunities for the future.
Next to the Expo the UAE will also be celebrating it‘s 50th anniversary – all the more reason that the 2020 Expo will surely not disappoint.
